The Express Newsletter – Issue 32 – June 2016

THE END OF THE YEAR (Tax year that is!)

Yes, it’s that time of year again where we get to nag you all, and you know how much we just LOVE doing that…..

The year is simply flying past so quickly it’s hard to believe it’s June and Tax time again but here we are!

We are looking forward to the new fiscal year with a few changes on the horizon which we”ll soon be sharing with you.

Until then, enjoy this issue!

The Team

WITH SUGAR ON TOP!

This year we thought we’d give you a break and not nag you incessantly to bring your accounts up to date prior to the end of the financial year.

NOPE! No Nagging…..

We’re going to try a different approach and appeal to your sense of kindness and consideration.

We have a new accounts team this year and we’re not ashamed to admit that it may be a tad more testing around the accounts department than it was last year, (and you all know how much chocolate was consumed then!)

So it would be greatly appreciated if you could PLEASE (with sugar on top) bring your accounts up to date prior to the end of this month to enable our accounts team to deal with the end of the financial year without having a complete meltdown.

Your prompt payment and donations of chocolate are very much appreciated…….

NEED MORE INCENTIVE?

Really???

Is the thought of an act of consideration and kindness not enough motivation to pay that account…

Just as well we have a few incentives to list for you to push you in the right direction.

  1. Prompt payment of your account saves you on those pesky late fee charges.
  2. You can use your Credit Card if paying within 14 days of invoice or to bring your outstanding account completely up to date – A great way to rack up those rewards points!!!
  3. Our own monthly customer rewards program (that randomly rewards a unique surprise gift to one lucky business for their prompt account payment), will be selecting several end of financial year recipients. It could be you!!!
  4. “It is better to give than to receive”

Birthday Wishes from Expressway Transport

Birthday wishes this month go out to our office team members Richard and Brian, our  company driver Peter and driver 213 Martin….

We hope you all have a terrific day!!!

AND THE ANSWERS WERE!

Last month we tested your logic with the sequence below that most kids can solve quicker than adults!

We had many entries in record time.

A point to prove perhaps?

Maybe it was too simple.

Let’s see how you all go with this month’s sequences.

We just might be keeping the goodies ourselves!

Goodluck.

Please note: Paying your account prior to the end of the financial year plays no part in the outcome of this competition.

(But please feel free to try it!)

TIME FOR A GIGGLE

THE ‘Y’ CHROMOSOME

People born before 1946 are called – The Greatest Generation.
People born between 1946 and 1964 are called – The Baby Boomers.
People born between 1965 and 1979 are called – Generation X.
And people born between 1980 and 2010 are called -Generation Y.

Why do we call the last group -Generation Y ?
Y should I get a job?
Y should I leave home and find my own place?
Y should I get a car when I can borrow yours?
Y should I clean my room?
Y should I wash and iron my own clothes
Y should I buy any food?

But perhaps a cartoonist explained it most eloquently below…

Expressway Transport on Generation Y

In the coming months there will be some changes happening around the Expressway/FC camp.

We’ll be spreading them out over a few months to keep things fresh and forever changing…… We’re an exciting bunch! Stay tuned!

We’d like to thank you in advance for prompt end of year payments and wish you all a stress free (but notchocolate free) end of financial year yourselves……
